Our Story

SthenoStack was founded from more than 15 years of experience building technology inside brokers and financial businesses.

As our Founder, Stelios Thrasyvoulou, explains:

I started as a software engineer and went on to lead technology and product teams as a CTO and CPTO.

But I never stopped being an engineer.

Over the years, I've worked with almost everything our industry has to offer — CRMs, trading platforms, bridges, back offices, client portals, data platforms and systems like Salesforce and HubSpot.

I've used them, bought them, integrated them, migrated them, replaced them and built our own.

Throughout my career, I kept coming back to the same question:

Why is financial technology so often difficult to use, hard to integrate and disconnected from the rest of the technology stack?

I believe great financial technology should understand the business it serves. It should speak the language of trading and financial systems, connect naturally with the rest of the stack, and still be simple to use. And underneath, it should be exceptionally well engineered.

User experience and engineering quality matter equally. We care about what people experience and how the system behaves underneath.

It should feel elegant. It should be fast. It should be reliable.

And when a business depends on it, reliability should be designed in from the beginning.

I also don't believe everything needs to be rebuilt.

That thinking became part of why I started SthenoStack.

Today, it's how we approach what we build.

Use good technology where it exists. Build where we believe we can make it meaningfully better.

We don't build technology for the sake of owning it. We build where we believe we can make it meaningfully better.

I've spent my career building this technology for individual brokers.

Now we're building it for everyone.

And we want to build it better.
